When the video of the beating spread through social media, there was anger among the common people. At one stage, the agitated locals beat the accused teacher Md. Ibrahim.   It is learned that Shariful Islam (13) and Mahfuzur Rahman (13), both students of Madhupur Jabalenur Madrasa in Sreepur, Ashulia, were severely injured last Friday (September 11) by beating them with canes in front of other students.
