Major (Retd.) Sinha said. Public hearing has started in the murder case of Rashed Khan. The inquiry committee is holding a public hearing at the office of Shamlapur Rohingya Camp in-charge in Teknaf on Sunday. The hearing was scheduled to start at 10 am but was delayed due to inclement weather. It is learned that 11 people have come to testify at the hearing. Sinha was shot dead by the police at around 9 pm on July 31. Rashed Khan was killed. The committee has organized a public hearing to investigate the incident.

Sinha was shot dead by police at Shamlapur check post on the night of July 31 on his way back to Nilima Resort in Himchhari area of ​​Cox's Bazar on Marine Drive after filming a video on Marishbunia hill in Teknaf. At that time, the police arrested Sifat who was with Sinha and sent him to jail. Shipra was later apprehended from the resort. Both are currently out on bail.

Investigators say it is important for them to know the answers to the three questions in the murder. One. The killings were premeditated or immediate. Two. Liaquat shot Sinha at the behest of Kar. Three. Whether Sinha had a weapon at all at the time of the incident.

The investigating officer in the Sinha murder case was changed last Friday. Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Khairul Islam has been given the responsibility of investigation. Earlier, Assistant Superintendent of Police Jamilul Haque was investigating the case.

The RAB has started questioning seven people, including four policemen accused in the Sinha murder case. A RAB vehicle took away seven accused from Cox's Bazar district jail around 10 am on Friday. The accused are Constable Safanur Karim, Constable Kamal Hossain, Constable Abdullah Al Mamun, ASI Liton Mia and three witnesses in the police case. Iyas, Nurul Amin and Nazim Uddin.

The Cox's Bazar Senior Judicial Magistrate's Court on Wednesday remanded the seven accused for questioning for seven days.
