The inquiry committee is holding a public hearing at the office of Shamlapur Rohingya Camp in-charge in Teknaf on Sunday. The hearing was scheduled to start at 10 am but was delayed due to inclement weather. It is learned that 11 people have come to testify at the hearing. The investigating officer in the Sinha murder case was changed last Friday. Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Khairul Islam has been given the responsibility of investigation. Earlier, Assistant Superintendent of Police Jamilul Haque was investigating the case.

The RAB has started questioning seven people, including four policemen accused in the Sinha murder case. A RAB vehicle took away seven accused from Cox's Bazar district jail around 10 am on Friday. The accused are Constable Safanur Karim, Constable Kamal Hossain, Constable Abdullah Al Mamun, ASI Liton Mia and three witnesses in the police case. Iyas, Nurul Amin and Nazim Uddin.

The Cox's Bazar Senior Judicial Magistrate's Court on Wednesday remanded the seven accused for questioning for seven days.
