Opposition Congress leader in India Rahul Gandhi has praised the role of the Pakistani government in controlling the coronavirus. He said the Pakistani government was controlling coronavirus infection better than the Indian government.


According to Geo News, Rahul Gandhi said on Friday that Pakistan and Afghanistan are better able to control the corona infection situation than India. Rahul spoke about the graphs of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the economic situation of different countries. He said that among the South Asian countries, India would face 10.3 per cent, Afghanistan 5 per cent and Sri Lanka 4.8 per cent.


According to the report of Geo TV quoting India Today, Rahul Gandhi shared a report of IMAF. The IAFF's latest report says the global economic crisis will not be as severe as expected. However, global GDP could decline by 4.4 percent.


The IMF also said that the economic losses that India, Spain and Italy would face in 2020 would be double-digit. The economic contraction in the UK will be 9.6 percent.
