The female peacekeepers of the Bangladesh Police have been given the responsibility of security at the Manusco Airport in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo). It said female peacekeepers from the Bangladesh Police have been tasked with guarding the DR Congo's Manusco Airport, which is run by a UN peacekeeping mission. The women peacekeepers of BanFPU-1, Rotation-14 are guarding the airport, which is located at a distance of 6,500 km from Bangladesh.

Marina Akhter, the commander of the rotation, said, "We are carrying out our duties not only on the soil of the country, but also under the banner of the United Nations with great dignity and pride."
